Lu, markets rarely correct on the first rise in interest rates. There is a rule of thumb "Three Steps and a Stumble". Markets can go much higher as interest rates are raised. Sometime the market even views the initial moves as positive because they believe that Government is keeping inflation in check. However, has the government ever gotten anything right? This market will correct for currency concerns first IMO.
