Hooray. Yea. All right.

Great day. Now my May 7.5 calls are only down 50% from when I bought them.

A 1/16 time premium on these babies. However, 10K of these traded today. That's highly significant.

No one in their right mind would sell these with a 1/16 premium. You'd be better off just selling your stock.

10,000 contracts traded. That's amazing.

Oh well. Back to reality. 5/8 more and I can buy my stock back at what I sold it last, 3 months ago.

Relax. Not planning on doing that. Will just ride my calls until I only lose 25% on them. <ggg>

Of course, if I can get that.

BTW, I was watching the tick by tick. There's something definitely going on. No way we'd have that much volume and be up so much and prevent the bears from pushing it back down.

No way so many calls would be bought today.

And, there's no way in hell that any money manager would be buying this stock without a substantial conviction that there's news out there that will be driving it up very, very soon.

Think about it. You're running Fidelity and you tell the CEO that you want to buy Iomega. The CEO says "What, are you out of your mind? Did you see their last earnings report?"

Really. No one would be buying it unless there's news. IMHO, we'll find out by the end of the week.

Good luck to you all.

One good gauge to use when evaluating a company's stock

It's grossly apparent you haven't had much success using these particular methods. Might be time to start looking elsewhere...
