The statements that the death camps didnt happen, or were mildly unpleasant, or were not meant to eridicate Jews from Hitler and the inner SS circles' universe is of course incomprehendible. You must find that as insane and unbearable as I find the many discussions here attempting to link my Lord Jesus Christ to the foremost spawn of satan in my life time. Correction--the second more foremost spawn--correction the third. Of course Stalin outdid Pol Pot, Pol Pot outdid Hitler. I would have to make an educated guess which is probably right that you are not as concerned about the suffering inflicted by the other two madmen, since it was foreign to your understanding for the most part. Especially Pol Pot. The truth is, it's also distant horror from me, because they weren't people that I even vaguely understand. That does not mean it did not happen and it does not mean it does not all represent human misery and despair beyond our ability to imagine it all. Hollywood at it's best never captures the reality of things, merely reinacts stories told to script writers. I would certainly suggest Emile read Corrie Ten Booms' book. She was in that horrid place starting with a "B" for the most part. She was quite certain indeed the camp was mostly of Jewish origin, with some poor gypsies thrown in. And some very sweet very nordic Christians--like Corrie and her brother Kik and her old father, the men lasted only a few days and disappeared. You should read that book. That's a good book for everyone to be sure and read. The Hiding Place. But perhaps Emile would say that story was made up and then we enter a realm I am not designed to be in. The Lord just seems to kind of say, come-on, let's go, it's not really worth it, and I try to obey more and more.
