Texas tea is the only soothing tonic in the market today.

Oil stocks were up, making them the only group on the positive side in a market battered by fears of rising interest rates. The price of oil is rising amid reports that OPEC may consider even more production cuts.

In addition, some refiners have had problems, which could force them to buy more oil to meet demand. And there's an expectation that Americans will put in more time behind the wheel this summer. Atlantic Richfield (ARC:NYSE) was up 7/8 at 77 15/16. Phillips Petroleum (P:NYSE) was up 1/2 at 48 3/8.
