I don't understand enough about charts to see the buy signal your talking about. I looked at the the candlestick chart and I interpreted it to be a sell signal. Other than the recent earnings report and a slightly stronger oil price what else could cause this to be a buy signal? I've never understood how to determine price resistance levels? Maybe you could help me with a brief explanation.

ESV looked very strong, but we'll have to see how the sector responds to negative API numbers reported Tuesday. ESV was one of the best performers Tuesday on what looked like bargain-hunting. Though I feel it is extremely undervalued relative to other drillers, it may also be more susceptible to lower crude prices.
