Never, ever buy a stock you wouldn't want to hold long-term. CC'ing is a bullish strategy, so you need to be bullish on the stock.

Similarly, if you really want to hold a stock, don't write calls
on it. You never know when there is going to be an explosive move
up, making rolling out an expensive if not impossible proposition.
