I was shocked that IAIC didn't move up several points on what I would call fantastic news. After the beating this stock has taken both in the stock price and in print I thought the earnings would have proved everyone wrong.

As much as I hate to say it, perhaps you are right that the air has gone out of the sector -- for now. Perhaps investors now want sustained growth (i.e. two quarters in a row or more), or perhaps everyone was spooked by PTUS and VIAS collapsing like they did. I guess we all have to be a bit more patient, but I think for all shareholders of the "rank and file" Y2K companies the wait will be worth it.
