So what part of the negative information that you are spouting wasn't already in the stock? IBM warned on bad earnings weeks ago. Asia's problems were already in the market. The forward looking comments for 1999 were pretty positive. Plus don't ignore the overall cash flow into the market. This market will stay over priced until the baby boomers start pulling their money out. Hey it has to go somewhere why not IBM??

"What a JOKE....just because IBM popped up today you think that you were right..." no, perry g., you're incorrect. if i thought IBM was gonna pop up today, i wouldn't have sold yesterday at 109, and i wouldn't be here responding to the "i-told-you-so's" who revel in someone being wrong. but then you would have had to read all the way back to post #2882 to make that determination. me thinks you are in too big of a hurry to find fault, to the extent that your facts are wrong, and the JOKE is on you. duh.
