New to the thread but I have a suspicion we will hear the company has been buying back shares. I loaded up 10,000 sh. more at 5 3/8 when I saw the price falling. The appointment of our most recent director is huge and as of yet underestimated. Does anyone realize the connections this man brings to the table. Suppose he gets nanx foot in the door at Lucent. The potential of this technology has not even begun to be exploited yet. When is the next earnings announcement due?

Sure it could! However, ChemFirst is an established player and has more resources with which to defend itself. The patent infringment suit was a sham from the start! Cabot brought the action to slow introduction of Moyco's slurry product by surrounding it with controversy. Moyco didn't have deep enough pockets to last the two plus years it would take to bring the suit to trial not to mention the lenghty appeal that Cabot would probably file when it lost.

I would guess that yes, Moyco's settling the suit did help cause the run-up. Back when I first heard of NANX it was from others who were long both companies.
