Hope you didn't get stuck with any of that Italian asparagus that needs peeling. I just hate skinning the little fellas alive, even if it is only their feet.

I don't like the stoic end. I prefer the knobbly end. For you ex- (or current) Chesapeakers out there, howzabout asparagus and blue crabs in the same steamer? You can place side bets while the two branches of the tree of life duke it out. Trouble is, asparagus and Old Bay is pretty awful.
