Off Serious Topics:

Since this looks like it may be IT, I think that we need an anthem for our thread. For awhile there it was looking like a Chain of Fools-- at least to those of little faith and vision. We're in the Money I'm sure predates the birth of most posters, even Chuzzy who claims to be of the stone age.<g> Our talk of Mercedes Benz's awhile back brings this to mind(with slight alteration):

Oh Lord, I can buy me a Mercedes Benz
My friends all bought 'net stocks
I've now made amends,
Worked hard the last quarters
a'watching stock trends
So drillers can buy me a Mercedes Benz!

(or at least a ticket to Houston for the big bash!)

Congrats to all who had the fortitude to hang in. Let's hope for the sun to come out(again) Tomorrow.

Thean you are too good to me. So how 'bout it Ron? I can field test the pill for the thread and will report results.

Wow! What a day. I sold covered calls on MDCO (May 25's)today. I sure hate to see CXIPY slipping away from me...that is one of the best stocks going (other than FGII) IMO. Here is my dream team:

FGII CXIPY VRC EVI PDE NE

Keep your eyes open for yet another top exec to leave a major driller. This will a few weeks down the road. Good hands are in demand these days.

Business is booming beyond belief...offshore is alive and well!!

Any of you coming to Houston for OTC week? It's the best chance to visit and get to know the companies. It'll be BIG.

FGII took a breather today, maybe it will catch up tmw. I wonder what will happen when FGII erects their personnel office on the corner across the street from Halter's yard in Pascagoula? A virtual worker war is shaping up. For 35 cents an hour welders will switch jobs in a heartbeat. The recent problem at Halter was reportedly that they brought in some workers from down the road at Beaumont and were paying them more than the regular workers. So the regulars walked off the job. This does not sound like pleasant management/labor relations.

Picture this...your yard is already behind on a project and the workers go to work for the shipyard across the street...not a good situation. I would not be a buyer or holder of HMAR. It doesn't seem that they are making any money or being good people managers. Also, what happens when labor rates go up and you are doing contracted work under a contract that was set months or a year ago under older cheaper rates...you start losing your ass, that's what.
