Bleeker, if I continue to discuss THQI on the RADAF thread, I might get flamed or worse so I came over here to congratulate you and everyone else on having a winner. $0.86 sounds familiar, what were profits over Christmas? Even Todd's estimate for this quarter proved too conservative.

It will be interesting to see the trading over the next days with such an impressive performance tempered with regrets over not having WCW indefinitely. There was upward price pressure after last quarters earnings report before the announcement of not renewing WCW. The positive sentiment which prevailed at that time might reestablish itself and take over for a while. I would anticipate some additional announcements which might prove more important even than these very impressive numbers.

The scale economies in this business are obvious. It really pays to grow revenues.

You know, I wouldn't be too excited if I were long here. For valuation purposes you need to treat the WCW results as a one time gain, as though they sold a building. Let's not start multiplying it by 23, lol. That's embarassing to even read.

Looking at "continuing operations," revenues dropped by 50% to 1996 levels! Outstanding shares have increased by 25% over last year. Meanwhile, the stock is about 8 times more expensive than it was in 1996.

And when are you people going to stop paying attention to Wedbush?

Those that do know the company know that the revenue stream is being replaced very well.

WCW pct. will drop by much more than half next quarter.

We've got $1.70 the last two quarters. Add in a double nickel (.55) each of the next two quarters (not hard with our lineup and console game sales up 50% this year) and we will have trailing earnings
of . . . well, I'll let Stagger do the math.
