Gary, I didn't buy the CSCO until April 94, it was 28 at the time. Since has split 2 for 1 and 3 for 2, for a basis of about 9 at todays price. Also, I wasn't smart enough to have sunk all that money into CSCO. But I was smart enough to have held most of what I did buy until now, minus a new roof and bathroom.

On the whole, simply holding the whole kit and caboodle of IBM would have worked out quite a bit better.

Gary, I also checked my records. That IBM was sold off mostly in 9/93, and some in 2/93, not '92 as I previously posted. Sorry about that.

I happen to like the ASND chart that shows them up about 3341% since August of 1994 versus the Cisco still impressive 1785% since June of 1992.

Either way that is the kind of stock growth that will make your mouth water!
