Sounds great to me but what does a guy do who has held MAy 40's since the stock was 35?

Jan, ASND options ramblings follow: Alan, I wish I could one day put my learned analysis/thoughts together the way you can. All you assumptions are correct. I am sure that I will benefit from the case study. As to writing uncovered puts; b/c I seldom use margin, therefore my long shares are providing adequate (but severely under-utilized) buying power. Conservative puts writing may be a way of capitalizing some of this leveraged purchasing power. I also wrote some May 35 uncovered puts with nice premiums when Asnd went below $35 a few weeks ago.
