*AV*--I hear you loud and clear but the losers on this list are still considered to be decent investments by myself. The trouble with them seems to be the timing of the investment. I am sure they will come back into a winning position and I may even average down with some of them shortly. This is much like the case with IOM. I thought myslef real smart buying in at the $9 price range only to see it go lower. I did some averaging down to the point that my average cost was a smidgeon under $8. now that it is recovering, I may bail out real soon in a profitable manner.

With the uncertainty in the semiconductor sector, I have been extra cautious to take profits at an appropriate level since we are on a roller coaster ride almost everywhere. Most recently, take ATMI. That ride was from 28 to 33 with the exit yesterday in anticipation of the "Mystery and History" phenomena relative to earnings. Earnmings were reported prior to the open and were great, IMO with both revenues and earnings at very exciting levels. This news was met with almost a 3 point drop in price. I will buy again into this cycle as it retraces just a little bit further, hopefully in the upper 20s.

BTW-I was delayed getting on line today with yet another NETCOM ISP issue. The damn thing would connect to the internet then the remote terminal disconnected me for no reason. xDSL was delayed until the beginning of May with a change to the program. It seems that the service is $40 now and does NOT include Internet access (additional $20/mo.). If you buy the $59.95/mo. plan, they will throw in the electronics for only $199 instead of the normal $454 cost. Such a deal but I wouldn't be surprised if the local telephone company has not "muddied" the existing telephone service to make the local ISPs look bad just when the phone company is starting to roll out their own service. Poor timing, coincidence, or conspiracy???? Well, I never had ISP problems prior to this scheduled implementation.<GGG>

Since I am late to the party this morning, I have a Monday Morning Quaterbacking comment which is still good at this moment:

ATTENTION CYMI INVESTORS - at 29.875(even though it was the bat of an eyelash) you are all on your own and let the Greed Monster Rule. Most of you are looking at 20-40% plus profits. I mentally wash my hands of this stock and you are all on your own to do what you see fit.<GGG>

Even at 28.5 the same holds true for all of you. I will not discuss what I have done as not to influence anyone's decision<GGGG>. However, even those that jumped aboard at $25 have close to a 15% profit within a week. Those in at sub $20 need to forward a nice check to yours truly<GGG>. Either that or drop a few bucks into the charity kitty this week.

IOM-coming back real nice and hopefully will move in the correct direction this time. Funny how many times I did not get involved and the stock went up. Yet when I pick what seemed to be a kick butt entry price, it greeted me with many opportunities to average down<GGG>.
