Well I bought calls on ESV and NBR- these two looked really good using my charts which are a combination of stochastics, macd, rsi, dma's and a few other things. Then I bought 1/00 leaps on dal. I will add amr post split. I don't like to buy puts before a split- but that is just me (calls yes, puts no). I am sure there are a zillion other ways you could play this- 1/oo leaps on SLB for instance, might be a good idea. I am thinking of doing that, of something similiar. I think I prefer oil to gold because I actually understand what oil is used for. I will probably trade the peaks and valleys, but will maintain this sort of pairing as long as I think airlines are overvalued and oils are undervalued- which could be quite some time.
