Slob, Well, TXN had a horrible first quarter, so the seasonal pickup second quarter could help them a bit. Book to bill is so phony it doesn't matter much. Is it above one? If not, the trend is still down, even if it "improves" from .9 to .99. PCs are sucking wind, but cellular is doing ok. Unfortunately, they are a non-event in the big picture. PCs still rule the roost for chip demand. However, if you have a good niche player who is immune to pcs and only supplies cellular, they may have a decent quarter in them. But I wouldn't bet that way, as the competition has cut profit margins so much that even an uptick in demand won't mean much to the bottom line. And more competition is on the way as the big memory producers move in.

BTW, where did you hear about a pickup in BTB? There is no longer an industry BTB, so it must have been from individual cos. MB
