DLL - I didn't say the Koran was the word of God, nor did I say the Bible wasn't, call that diplomacy if you'd like to be charitable. What I did say was that the teachings of major prophets get twisted and perverted by various of their followers in later times, and I gave a dim recollection of reading that the jihad was not the idea of Mohamet. Since then I've further dimly recollected that I likely read that in The Economist or elsewhere during the Iran hostage crisis of '79-'80. That's about all ....
