Simon; I remember the early 60s real well, heck I was taken back
by those huge 100K contracts that a ball player could get back then,
and knew the system was going to blow up just any day.

I've quit trying to put a time table on it, we now make
money that's based on corn that will be grown after the year
3000..People think the Government inflated by printing worthless
money, and they did, but the banking system and Wall Street fooled
the Government and printed their own money faster than the Government could, thus they inflated faster than the Government. There are now more futures contracts ( bought at about 10% of value ) but are counted just like real assets in the bank by the banks than money.
As long as we have magicians like this who can reach in and pull rabbits and money out of hot air there is no need to put a time table on when they will run out of new tricks.
Lets enjoy it while we can..no one knows for sure what tomorrow
will bring.
Jim

Back in 1990 I thought the whole damn financial system might blow up in 10 yrs.

We're only 8 years past 1990, so don't blow off your prediction yet. -GG-

This tulip-crazed market has me feeling like a smart-@ss.
