Thanks for the news digs. There was some good stuff in there. I found this statement somewhat troublesome, though:

On March 10, 1998, the Company announced it believed that sales volumes in the second half of fiscal 1998 would be 15 to 20 % lower than those in the first half of its fiscal year. Due to very recent customer demand developments, the Company now believes that the decline in sales could reach 30 to 35%.

I have incorrectly assumed that "Asian Flu" might not be as bad as had been predicted...this statement makes me think that is not the case and that maybe the situation is actually worse.

It'll be interesting to see what, if anything, Canon, ASML, Nikon, and some others like AMAT have to say.
