Cash is king? Well the cash in my account doesn't make money sitting there. LU reported .05 above expectations. Does anybody think this will help the networkers today? Also the downturn in asnd yesterday occurred on fairly low volume compared to the volume in the morning which drove it higher. I still can't figure out how heavy buying volume drives up the stock and it can fall back so much on relatively low volume. How do they determine the stock price? LU profits doubled. October 98' LU is free to buy other companies.Maybe asnd, but Nokia is rumored to be at the top of the list.

CNBC guy (analyst Bear Stearns) just stated he sees LU most likely acquisition as Nokia, after the 10/98 change to allow pooling of interest. Nokia market cap 26BB.

Sees smaller acquisitions in the meantime.

LU .14 earnings vs .09 estimate.
