Technology Stocks : How high will Microsoft fly? -- Ignore unavailable to you. Want to Upgrade?

Dear Sunny:

Has MSFT ever disappointed? They will come in at .48 or better. They wouldn't have bothered with the earlier announcement just to miss.
If they come in better it will be in spite of Asia and therefore bode well for the good ship MSFT. People will see the DOJ case as no threat if the current court room scene continues to play out as it has been and the analysts will wake up and start recognizing the web side potential (greater than Yahoo) once the imbedded browser comes rolling out in June. And people will be paying for this browser as it is a part of a bundle. One could then anticipate more frequent upgrades as the added dimension of the browser function gives MSFT more excuses to upgrade. MSFT is the PFE of software or is it the other wa around - don't get caught short.

At this very moment, all positions, long and short, in MSFT
are closed out, although I did try to grab some calls a few
days ago for the Comdex and pre-announce runup, but I didn't
get in, and had somewhere else to put the $$$. This afternoon
I have some limit buys on May puts, anticipating the stock may
try to push into the 99 range before closing. I won't check
the orders again until the end of the day.

I wouldn't short _before_ the announcement; puts provide limited
downside.

Good luck to all. I predict .48, anyone else?
