There are different version of PPro200. The difference is cache size.

Which version of the PPro is it?.. (i.e. how big is the L2 cache).. that makes a HUGE difference in the price of the chip (since as you know with the PPro the L2 cache is in the MCM).

Gene - Pentium Pro 200 MHz with 256 K cache prices should be in the $400-$500 range.

Perhaps you got the price with 512K or 1 Meg cache.

The Pentium Pro 200 would have made a great Windows NT system a year or two ago - but it is now well behind Intel's best.
