Gotta agree with you on that Jackson especially being a Bay long.Analysts upgrade as stock falls.They downgrade and it falls more then rises as they buy secretly(not them but their house)whereupon they upgrade and sell into the strenghth etc.What a F----- racket! Regards,Dave

I have always suspected stock analysts of cupidity and stupidity. Your Otis Redding paraphrase of his classic song, Sitting On The Dock Of The Bay, has just added two more: mendacity and duplicity. I'm using these words instead of more common language so the analysts can't sue me. They wouldn't know how to look them up. In spite of the realization that IDTI's earnings in today's climate can't be very good, I'm still hopeful they will exceed the three cent consensus. It would be interesting to see where the stock would move if earnings turned out to be a nickel. Keep trying to teach me more about buying put options in advance of an earnings debacle. I just won't apply it to big DOW companies. If IBM's tax percentage hadn't fallen to 32% from about 35%, their earnings would have looked even worse, and their PC business is still in the tank. I guess I must have a genetic flaw in my logic, but don't see how IBM's price rose with that earnings report. We'll know something tonight on IDTI's.
