Craig, Another reply from the same engineer, in response to my question about his opinion on GE backbones: Message 4163347 Interesting in that his opinion seems to be that it will be the primary application in the near future and this, combined with Roy's opinion that it is harder to build may make Ancor's GE-FC product a hot item. He also seems to think that the common drawbacks that are usually talked about - standards question and cabling problems are not an issue. George D.
