No John, not trying to start a rumor, that's already been done. I am just trying to solicit additional information. I'm not an analyst or investor, but I have worked in the industry for several years. Sure DRAM prices suck right now, but that doesn't mean every company is going belly up. TI has a cash cow with DSP, why screw around with memory? Where as Micron is one of the most competitive DRAM manufacturers in the world. They're going to be around a while, and will position themselves for continued growth. This rumor, therefore, doesn't seem totally out of the question. TI has made their intention to withdraw from the memory business public, Acer has acquired one fab already. Hitachi bailed on their joint venture, with a 2.8 billion dollar loss, and TI will take charges as well. Somebody will buy the rest or they'll use it for DSP. We'll have to wait and see.
