The big boyz are tramping on each other to get in the door this morning.

Yes,
Intel has broken out through overhead resistance at 79.50. I pointed this out to Paul Engel as a good possibility on another thread.
He doesn't believe in TA but I think he's stating to get the idea. <G>

Paul,
You may be able to clock it at 133MHz but that doesn't help you if you
can get it to boot! <G>
BTW, Intel stock price at make it or break it levels. We have a short
term double bottom and a necessary break out point over 79.50. If Intel
breaks out over that it could run as high as 96+. Will it make it, Paul?
Some of the oscillatory indicators look pretty good as well.
Too bad about the Celery though."

--------
I'd say we run a while. Intel not overbought until 96+.

Jim

Tepli and ALL, Article...Intel to debut TeamStation for advanced conferencing..

By Scott Berinato, PC Week Online

Intel Corp. (INTC) wants to give users conference-room systems that turn the usually outdated facilities into another high-performance node on the network.

The company's Hillsboro, Ore., division next week will introduce TeamStation 4.0. It combines audio- and videoconferencing, Internet and corporate network access, and data collaboration in a Windows NT 4.0 system, officials said.

The system melds ISDN WAN conferencing at 128K bps with IP-based connections for LAN or leased-line users at up to 400K bps. Future enhancements will push the ISDN connections to 384K bps. Video can run at 30 frames per second, officials said.

Management software allows remote managers to set up and tear down sessions for nontechnical users. Errors or physical problems, such as a disconnected camera, are logged in a database for the manager. Documents to be shared during a conference can be placed in a Document Server instead of having the conference room mapped to myriad drives that hold the data, officials said.

As for combining all the features in a single system, Intel cites statistics showing that there are 10 million conference rooms in the United States and employees spend 37 percent of their time in them.

TeamStation will list at $9,999 and is available now. The 384K-bps ISDN hardware upgrades will be available this summer starting at $3,499.

The buying sure did begin!
