Bob,

The main reason I don't care for it is it says "ME TOO." In sales, being in a "me too" situation is the equivalent of rolling the dice. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose. You need to tilt the odds more in your favor. This release doesn't do that. I'm not saying there isn't more to the decision made, but tell the world what it is. Don't just say "me too." Otherwise, why put the darn thing out. From the release, anyone of several database companies could have done this. So why would a prospective customer view this release with any bias towards Informix? (retorical question)
