For those of you who want to own gold and make it worth your while. I started out with my long love affair with gold by panning and then dredging and ended up with some nice placer gold to sell. I also bought gold in coins bars and scrap, whenever I had spare cash.

My mining partner was selling his placer gold to a jeweler for spot price cash. I went to sell some, but didn't let on that I had any and asked about the availability of gold nuggets. The jeweler offered to sell me some at 5 times the price he was paying my partner. He showed me jewelry that had gold nuggets set in it and the mark-up was incredible.
So learn how to make gold jewelry. I did. So did my partner. Jewelry will always be a good way to sell your gold for 5 to 10 times the market value. Or get goldsmith to be your silent partner. Pick Me.... as if I have the time.

Goldsmithing isn't nuclear physics, it is a good way to buy gold and sell it at a good profit. The new gold mine in Ireland is going to market all of their product in the form of jewelry. They won't be affected by the fluctuations in price once they have a market for their jewelry and every Paddy in the world wants a genuine Irish gold ring.

By the way...gold I dug up when the price was $800 per ounce is still in my inventory, never mind the present price, I have never sold any of it at less than $2500 per ounce, legally, paid taxes and all that stuff.
