Not Bill Fleickenwrong again.
Of course a lot of what he says is fact but then again he ignores a lot of fact too. Sooner or later he'll be right though.

Tom,>>>So, what is an investor to do with technology stocks? If you are bold, short them. If not, have patience, it won't be that long until people hate them once again. The question is, will you have the courage to buy them when they are cheap. My bet? Most won't. <<<

It is mostly opinion from William A. Fleckenstein - he has been a bear for the last several thousand points on the DOW. He is shorting with money he probably does not have if he has been following his own advice. Even if the market does correct - so what?

As we go into the next century - the fundamentals have never been better. There is relative peace in the world. There is billions of people experiencing or on the verge of experiencing economic improvement on a scale never seen in history - and mostly due to technology (there being more scientist living now and creating advances in technology than all the scientist that have ever lived prior combined) - and Fleckenstein is shorting technology going into the next century.

The stock market may decline and may decline big time - but shorting technology on a fundamental basis is really stupid.

Regards,

Mary Cluney
