TO: TGS59, Shaqa, and those like them: Please be aware of he fact that I'm back full time and intend to pickup where I left off slugging it out head to toe in any arena of your choice be it the SEC, the TX lottery commission or any where else that's truly an independent third party.
That being said lets initiate the festivities with the DIRECT answers to the following questions:
Did you, your company or GMTC commence a campaign in TEXAS prior to April 19th/98 to induce your current customers to sign two year agreement (or less) by June or July 1 st, 1998 ( or whatever date) which stipulated that GMTC revenue participation would be 20% as opposed to the 30% that accrues to GMTC under their existing agreements.???????
If the answer is yes please advise who partook in this effort??
I will refrain from asking other questions until you respond to these. I'll play clean as long as you do the same.
ON that basis please do not insult the many intelligent AGT people by mixing fact and fiction (Gee I thought I said we should slug it out and call a spade a spade--- Oh well maybe next time
Please provide simple direct answers if you dare.
No matter which one of us wins this round rest assured that I will respond for round two. WIL YOU????????

Randy,

Your assessment and mine really aren't that different from one another. That's why I keep trying to remind everyone that they need to think about the intent of each post and the motivation of each poster. Judging by the email I receive, there are apparently a significant number of people who only read SI, never posting themselves. I try to remember that as I prepare each response.

I have publicly maintained that the timing of tgs59's appearance here was no coincidence. I suspect the critical stimuli were AGTI's approval in Texas and the announced alliance with K&B. Even though AGTI is the underdog, they now represent a potential threat to a portion of GMTC's market share in TX. Tgs, therefore, has something at stake.

Believe me, I'm no mamby pamby neoliberal who tries to analyze every criminal's psychological background, looking for excuses as to why the crime was committed. And I'm as long AGTI as anyone on this thread...probably even more than most. But the idea of censorship does not appeal to me, so long as we understand the probable reasons for each poster's responses. I think I recognize tgs's reason for being here, so I can temper my assessment accordingly.

Do I wish there were only positives to report about AGTI? Absolutely. Do I wish tgs were "on our side"? Absolutely. But this is the real world and we all know that neither of these wishes is reality. In spite of this, I know more about the bingo industry overall, the mix of players, and more about Texas than I knew before tgs began his "assault". By asking direct, well reasoned questions, we can all help to keep things on an even keel. As shareholders, we have a debt of obligation to keep our opponents honest on our thread.

tgs59:
I hope you agree with my position. I'm here to help protect my own investment, so you and I may sometimes disagree. Sometimes, we may actually agree. Some posters, including me, may occasionally throw flames at you. But at least you have been honest in reporting who and what you are. You have a great depth of knowledge about the bingo industry, you have vested interests, but you also have an ethical responsibility to be fair and objective....here on this AGTI thread.

Best Regards,
Hardrocker
