This A.M. We had the comment on CNBC that these internet stocks are taking on the "Wildly speculative" status....THis guy was really negative about the impact of this.......I tend to agree..the traders taking main street's money...John Q. Public may get a little unhappy - Jerk their cash and go home.....
I am sure this is a premature statement but bookmark it ...this will be the sentiment soon...How soon I can't tell you......so this post is worthless in that effect. :>)

Paul; It's also being pushed to it's limit and beyond..at times
the internet is churning at over 150% of it's rated capasity..
they don't upgrade to meet the demand as every thing gets obsolete
so fast..
I'm sure you've watched over the years , ( most software is released
before it's de-bugged Microsoft has been the worse about pushing
out a new version..then makeing the patches avalable after ,,
like rush it to market..and fix it later..every time waterhouse
upgrades they wind up with glitchs they have to work out..
-------------------------
It's become the standard..and we take it or leave it..they do not
in any way have to be accountable..
It's like building a Nuke plant..and saying we will xray all the
pipe and such after we get it on line..
The quality of software has actully gone backwards..it's bigger
10 times bigger to do just a few more jobs..
I did a spread sheet in excel97 today..heavens new people just
don't know what this golith is...or how slow it does a job..
the newbies just want it to be easy to use..and point and click,
but just to copy, and paste and such this thing is like sloooow,
the overhead that windows has keeps getting more and more..
talk about losing efficiency we are going back to where I can
run old programs on a 386 and beat this new stuff hands down.
