Hola Amigos! - Link here for TRI's latest Marum comments:forums.stockhouse.com 'TRI' discusses Ashton's paper presented at the IKC in Cape Town last week, and how MMU's recent News report compares favourably. For ex.(text in quotations is from ACA's paper),"Volcanic stratigraphy is dominated by lapilli-bearing olivine crystal tuffs, occasionally with well-defined, generally normally-graded beds varying from coarse ash to coarse crystal. Juvenile lapilli-rich beds and rare autoliths have also been noted, particularly in kimberlites K6, K91, and K14, and minor interfingering sedimentary beds have been identified in drill holes from several pipes. Lapilli are generally spherical or amoeboid in form, with the former frequently nucleated on olivine macrocrysts; vesicles are a common feature of many amoeboid lapilli." Compare this to my conversation with the management of Marum as stated in the April 7, 1998 Situation Alert. Also,"Petrographic examination of the macrocryst mineralogy of the Buffalo Hills kimberlites reveals a preponderance of olivine, which occurs as ovoid grains up to one centimeter in length, and as smaller, generally subhedral grains." Marum has found Olivine in the region in their past work. It is for this reason that I expect they will find it again in the samples. [I don't know if it was posted there with permission. I do know proper credit wasn't given to TRI]. - More info about "The Resource Indicator " newsletter can be linked to here:goldsheet.simplenet.com -------------- ------ Re. Marum's AB activity: As I posted, the flying phase of the mag data acquisition is complete and Marum should get maps within days. Cheers, -j :> Marum's Website: marumresources.com
