Scott, Bill Gates just recently did the same thing with MSFT when the market started worrying about the Asian Flu setting in on Microsoft. The effects were very positive.

I agree 100%

Would be nice and if the numbers are good on revenues and then good on earnings

You know I really should be focusing more on earnings than revenues, as the EPS is what is important to investors.

Also, I agree with Truth about the fact that Y2K code is not flowing to vendors as the industry has projected, and thus revenue growth for ALYD and others may well be 30% 50% 150% 200% for all we know. I fear I am being totally unrealistic to think ALYD will show a huge increase in code flow when the industry as a whole is not.

Note that this has nothing to do with signed contracts, for ALYD and others, it has more to do with getting your large clients to negotiate a new contract for the mother lode after having proved yourself. As more and more of the pilot project code (500K-3M lines) gets back into production and works, I think we'll see press releases with some big bucks finally attached. That will tip us off that the sector is poised to take off again. Frankly, I don't see signs of that anywhere just yet.

So, all this means is I really don't have a clue about Q1 numbers and I want everyone to know my speculation has been based on pure math and nothing more. What I really need to do is make some calls and hear what the analysts are finding out. I also need to get a better sense of ALYD's expenses. So, until then, I don't really feel qualified to make any "prediction". (gg)
