My recollection is that McData does in fact resell Brocade switches. If you look over the EMC page their Power Path system is probably 2 Silkworms. I tried to find a previous SI post, where I could recall what looked like 3 Silkworms configured in an EMC enterprise switching device. The only other possibility is that McData or EMC have designed a switch that is a competitor with the Ancor and Brocade switch - and that does not seem likely. The previous article giving backplanes of various switches showed that the backplane of the McData switch (where public info was available) was not competitive with Ancor's or Brocade's.
