MArk, First, let me say that there is NO WAY i am adequate to the task of defining God, fair enough? What I was saying is that God defined HIS love through out the ages,by finding a way for us to approach and even enter the "Holy of Holies" This was accomplished by His Son. If you think you approach His throne by any other means, what are they? The bible talks of seperation from God forever, what is this if not punishment? Yet the answer is so easy it goes by many. LOOK for it. "come all who are heavyladen and I will give you rest" (Jesus words recorded in Matthew 11)
