Robert: I am still chuckling about BARR. Robertson Stevens comes out with an initiation of coverage siting $22 for 12 mos on EPS est of $.65 for '98. What a jerk. You can't can't get to $22 in 12 mos with those numbers. Many are selling on this research report, stupid people. They are also siting the dillution is going to kill their rev stream; when in fact I believe BARR is aquiring a digital video co from SanDiego that should boost rev's. This is a strong buy in my mind. My mind is also very tired of this crap. I wish Rich would make a statement and soon.
I'm glad I kept WIRE, should go to new highs soon. MRCY had good numbers as well. Bought some KLU at the open @ 10 7/8. Bought more RADAF today, looks to be firming now. Should go well after earnings as THQI reported killer numbers. GICOF is sitting and winking at me. <g> I am not worried about a co with a pe of 15 growing 100%. (BARR)

Sparky.......pray for me!

Hi Sparky,

According to biz.yahoo.com today, one of the 3 analysts must have recently cut estimates on barr. Any idea who and why?

Also, how much to you reckon the drop in EPS estimates for ensuing quarters can be explained by the dilutive effect of the secondary? I gather from earlier posts that at least one of the analyse is, uh, questionable? :)

I'm still doing a bit of DD, and waiting for a good entry point. Tough to see much wrong with the company, now that the secondary is over with (and, this AM they announced that the underwriter's option for add'l 300K shares was excercised--we aren't the only ones who see value here.)

btw, Nice to have you aboard at RADAF.

Thoughts welcome from all,

Dave
