Patrick -- the bearishness and caution is so rife at this point, that I would say that any sell-off will be limited, and that we will resume the up-leg again, even if we see a short term reversal.

The few threads that I follow are all talking of a bubble, craziness, etc, etc. Just look at the SI bull/bear ratio. My experience is that the market generally does not oblige people with a sell-off when the majority are looking for one.

Even the internet stocks ought to have another leg up after this sell-off is over. Am trying to decide whether to play it on the long side for a trade.

EDIT--The tightness of the range today suggests that we will see some dramatic move in one direction or the other before the day is out. I suspect to the upside.
