I agree with all you said. The Street is simply not as forgiving, not as far future oriented, and not as willing to believe.

<<And the troubles MOT has had should tell us that making cdma handsets isn't at all like just stamping things out with a cookie cutter.****Certainly not as big as MOT having a customer rip out $500 Mil. of infrastructure.>> Yes, and Mot's share price was cut in half over a few months as a result of these sorts of things and Asia. Mot has gotten a reputation as a tech company that can't execute and can't market. But does have good technology in many areas. Not a good role model I think.

The market is looking at Ericy and Nokia breathing down their neck. And in different areas Lu and Nortel as well. Execution is key.

Gregg Powers where are you?

Looks to me like the results were pretty much what you predicted with share prices now coming down from anticipations of something even better, "things weren't so bad after all, after all". Although we have partially recovered from the initial SEA hits, this quarterly sense of disappointment seems like pure deja vu. What nags is the "flat" June quarter looking forward. If you are around and of a mind, I would sure be interested in your perspective.
