There was nothing negative in the conference call. Sounds like things are looking pretty good and everything is on track. CPCI's investment in Ultra-SCSI is paying off and will continue to do so for some time to come. They feel that having SGI doing sales & support is a big plus. Sales of Sun systems is increasing all the time.

The only "downer" is that the company was not prepared to predict impressive growth. Entertainment has been soft and CPCI does not want to predict oil and gas continuing at recent growth rates. That's the only explanation I have for the market seeming to pooh-pooh an excellent quarter and another stock buy-back. I'm a little puzzled. I see CPCI spending $3M/Q on stock as a very good move. Although another explanation would be SGI's announcement on the same day with another loss. These two have been closely linked and that might be the real reason for no upside on CPCI today.

Anyone else have comments?

Stuart.

Sorry - But why is a 17% revenue growth not impressive - We are talking about a market where prices go down by the minute. ?

IMO it is impressive
