Problem is that AMD announced wider than expected losses, and their financial condition is worsening since they had to file a $1 Billion shelf registration. Short term volatility in a stock doesn't bother me. Eventually AMD will trade significantly lower. The fact that the price jumped in the last few days means you made a lucky call. If the stock would have gone down, I'm sure you wouldn't be reminding us that you screwed up.
