Steve,

I think that NSM lost the TCI bid on the set-top-box, and could not place the order with TSMC. There is no sigh that NSM would give up for the next bid and any other potential business opportunity.

If Cyrix had the design win with Acer on the $299 and up XC series, the order to TSMC would be issued in no time. When the project of PC-On-A-Chip is finished and NSM adopts the license policy to the home appliance industry, the whole Intel-processors based PC market would collapse. M3 (M III) would take care all the lucrative high-end market on the systems still run Windows application.

It is the time for NSM learn to hype tomorrow technology and products. Couldn't you tell that Intel has been hyped their stock prices by talking about next year's .18u process to take PII to 500Mhz, could you? Obviously, their current 0.25u would be topped @400Mhz. NSM has the same schedule to immigrate MediaGXm and MXi to .18u

Fuchi ... who loves Cyrix's innovations
