Scumbria,

All the components for PCOAC are in National's possesion. It is relatively simple to stitch them together.

So why is it going to take a year to do it?

(Mid 1999 _IF_ NSM hits their target, which they haven't been able to do for anything else yet).

How much does a 1 cm2 die cost?

Depends on the price of dreams, 'cause it aint going to be 1cm2 that's for damn sure (at least not with ANY kind of performance)

Steve

Question: How is it simple? Circuitry stitching is simple?
Process stitching is simple? The latter is definitely not simple.

I believe that Halla's last company is still working on
system-on-a-chip (same idea as PCOAC) and have been for a
while now, and they've got a much better reputation than NSM.
