trey,

i think they must be using globespam, too. i would just be surprised to see a full size deployment on them...but right now, I'd be surprised to see a full sized deployment on anyone in the next couple months. :-)

i called EPOCH today about DSL services in the Bay Area and they are using two modems--the Flowpoint and the Red Rocket...the guy didn't know whose they were? But, I think they are CAP and I think they are probably also Globespan.

Prices for EPOCH are not cheap for 1.5 Mbps...$199 month for service + $27 bucks a month for modem rental + $35 bucks a month for web account, I think. Thats not too cheap, but better than a T1 I guess. They also offer 144 and 384 kbps speeds. I am not getting them. Perhaps some one else will and tell us about their service? :-)

all imho
