My guess for the price drop is:

1) profit taking and normal back and fill;

2) apprehension that price will drop further if there's no stock split announcement at tomorrow's board meeting.

If you've followed WLA stock price in the last few months, you'll know how volatile these pharmaceuticals' stock price can be. Hold for the long term and add to your position on big dips. Referring to the article in my previous post, don't you think that analysts' Viagra sales estimates are too low? I expect next Monday's scripts number to be even more spectacular.

stockjet, hoping that it is just manipulation by the big boys so they can buy in for the big runnup to come before the split... if there is one.

"What's causing the sudden price drop in the last half hour? Is there any news?"

Stockjet, thanks for drawing my attention to the price drop; I knew it was dropping but didn't know it had dropped so much until I read your post and then checked my realtime quote. I managed to buy a few more shares at $112 3/4, not the low of the day, but I've always wanted to add to my position, and I want to make use of this dip.

Let's hope there's a split tomorrow, otherwise next Monday should bring further good news.

It's probably b/c someone wants a couple 100,000 shares who's a preferred customer and the firm of which he's a client of, says they can get a good fill for him before tomorrows meeting. Or, some market maker is short some 50 call options and needs to get out fast but at a good price. That's all in retrospect since it popped up very quickly off it's bottom of the day.
