I was also looking at the APCO options today (am getting performance envy from unloading my trading shares at 13). Decided to hold off as I didn't want to buy so close to their all time high. Does 14 1/8 really look like a true base at the moment? I was hoping to see another half-point drop before getting involved with the calls.

I think the timing of the article in The New America section couldn't be much better. Just days before APCO is going to release earnings and APCO will be fresh on the minds of those that have just read about it in IBD. It's like having the bases loaded with Chipper Jones coming to bat.
