To the "thread,"

In what was a quick mis-reading of today's S-8 filing by TFS, I noted that Jeff Buchanan's wife Michelle was employed by the company. The actual paragraph reads as follows:

"The firm of O'Connor, Cavanagh, Anderson, Killingsworth & Beshears, a professional association, Phoenix, Arizona, has acted as counsel for the Company in the preparation of this Registration Statement. As of April 20, 1998, certain members of such firm beneficially owned a total of 14,250 shares of the Company's Common Stock. In addition, Michelle Buchanan, who practices in the firm's environmental law group, is the spouse of Jeffrey D. Buchanan, who is an executive officer of the Company."

It appears that Mrs. Buchanan isn't employed by TFS, but *is* employed by TFS's attorneys. I regret the error.

However, what is more important, of course, is that this filing was made the *day* prior to the annual meeting. I don't believe in "accidents", and the timing...which would make it difficult for shareholders to read and study the document prior to the annual meeting...is so fortuitous that I am going to read it with extra care.

I will post more from Phoenix (as I am leaving in a couple of hours), if I am able to unearth anything of "import."

Have a good evening.

Jeff has a very pretty sister too. Saw her at the meeting last year.
Hope they hire her too. Hey if you need help- why not hire people
you know something about, and can trust.

On an important note- just picked up today from MSNBC -a long story about Motorola's chief attempting to turn Motorola around. His internal memo of Jan 28th explains a whole lot of the problems TFS has had with MOT. Mainly the infighting there and the reluctance to go DIGITAL. This is well worth the read.
