Sandy- Drop after earnings?

Well, that is the pattern, isn't it.

From a lot of discussion on the boards, I think it is fair to say that management made an effort last time to meet with analysts, and their efforts were not successful. I think they may be looking for the stock price to help legitimize their products and fuel new growth-- I think they will try to avoid the drop after good earnings. I sure hope so. Maybe Xyplex has marketing people who can help strategize.

My biggest fear is selling in anticipation of the dip, and then the stock takes off, me at the station.

I am new at this, so forgive a beginner's question- would this be a situation to construct an options "strangle" around $30? My gut feeling is we are going up, or going down, but not loitering at these levels.
