Jimmyo,

I think Jan 99 Call 30 (VFUAF) and Call 35 (VFUAG) and the Jan 2000 Call 30 (LFUAF) and Call 35 (LFUAG) are worth considering if you are interested in an option position.

I think these LEAPs are a good "bet" at the strike prices above, and they'd give you enough time to not get shaken up (or out) on days like yesterday. Go to this URL and you can see what price the stock must go to by expiration for break-even:

cboe.pcquote.com

I own mostly Nextel stock, with a few LEAP positions (I struck at 25 when the stock was high teens, low twenties). I also own some near-term options, but don't recommend them for the faint of heart. The near-term options is money that can be lost.

Rob

New rate plan available in the Great Lakes Region.

Unlimited Direct Connect, 600 minutes of cellular, and all the other "goodies" for $79 bucks a month. That's 200 additional cell minutes for only $10 bucks more from existing plan. That's only 5 cents per minute.

Mmmm...MCI charges 12 cents per minute for landline.

Enough bandwidth from me for the day.
