Was it 9:57 Eastern Time or Central time.

At 9:57 EST, GEO was $2.85-$2.89
AT 9:57 CT, GEO was $2.95-$3.00

Thanks, Claude. It was 9:57 AM EDT, 6:57 AM MST/PDT (Arizona time). It looks like I should be in at US$2.02-2.03. Maybe a little higher, but at least enough savings to cover the $19.95 commission.

They're supposed to call me back today.

E*Trade told me that the trade actually executed in a timely manner but that it just took that long to get the report back. Evidently they have to call someone else to transact a Canadian trade so there was delay there. The guy I talked to on the phone wasn't very helpful and pretty much said that I should expect the delay and slippage due to currency spreads.

I'd press this matter further except that we're only talking about US$0.08 * 500.
